Her mother, Lori Beth Blaney, was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Unfortunately, Rachel was stillborn. This is her 21st year as a first-grade teacher (well, one year was in second grade), starting at Pate’s Creek Elementary and now at East Lake Elementary in McDonough.
